Yes! Your Fur Baby may not need an Extra Boost Blend add-on. If they are only needing a daily supplement that provides long-term maintenance and overall wellness, the Classic Everyday Smoothie is the right choice.
If you are looking to provide extra support for a specific long-term condition that is already present with your Fur Baby or you are hoping to potentially prevent a long-term condition in the future, an Extra Boost Blend could be a good fit to use every day in addition to the Classic Everyday Smoothie.
-
The Classic Everyday Smoothie is a daily base for all Fur Babies that use our products. The Extra Boost Blends are an optional add-on to the Classic Everyday Smoothie. For optimal long-term results regarding overall wellness, it is recommended that if your Fur Baby is using an Extra Boost Blend, they should also be using the Classic Everyday Smoothie as well.
We encourage using both because the Classic Everyday Smoothie enhances and supports the ingredients in the Extra Boost Blends. They intentionally compliment each other. For example, if your Dog or Cat has chronic arthritis, the Classic Everyday Smoothie may have a daily dose of Glucosamine and Collagen Peptides in it, but that dose supports daily maintenance and/or prevention, not conditions. On the flip side, the Extra Boost Blend: Healthy Bones & Joints intentionally gives your Fur Baby more Glucosamine and Collagen Peptides, but there are also ingredients like Green-Lipped Mussels, which the Classic Everyday Smoothie does not have.
With your continued support as we grow our small business, we hope in the near future to offer Extra Boost Blends that already have the Classic Everyday Smoothie base mixed in as an option to purchase.

Absolutely! You can purchase any of our Best Shot mixes or the Complete Best Shots Collection without using our other products. We encourage all Pet Parents to have a natural medicine cabinet of options on hand for their Fur Babies.
A Fur Baby is way more likely to have diarrhea with Best Shots if they have never used any of our products before, with the exception of our Best Shots: GI & Diarrhea Support. However, it is possible that it could still trigger diarrhea for Fur Babies with sensitive stomachs if they have never had our products before.
With this product being a concentrated mix of natural ingredients with the intention to target symptoms of a minor short-term illness quickly, the last thing we want is your Fur Baby to feel worse while you are trying to help them feel better!
Fur Babies that are on our Classic Everyday Smoothie and a Extra Boost Blend too have developed a gut biome that is familiar with the ingredients in the Best Shots, which makes the transition smoother when their Fur Baby is experiencing an issue that needs quick support.

Our Best Shots provide symptom relief in early-detected minor issues that are common with Cats and Dogs.
Furber Babies cannot assess if your pet is experiencing a minor or major issue and cannot provide advice on how you should handle that scenario. We do encourage you seek advice from a licensed Veterinarian if you are not sure how to handle a problem with your Fur Baby. We recognize that how Pet Parents strategize and intend to care for their Fur Babies is diverse and that should be respected in the Pet Industry.
The ability to be able to guess, research, or accurately identify the difference between a minor and major issue with your Fur Baby is another risk taken on by being a Pet Owner.
Some Pet Parents choose to use natural supplement with the intent to treat and heal illnesses. Some Pet Parents may see natural supplements as an interim support leading up to a scheduled Vet visit. Some Pet Parents prefer to monitor and wait it out. Some Pet Parents may have other approaches to their pet's supplemental care that may differ entirely from another Pet Parent's approach.
Our purpose at Furber Babies is to provide you with a product that is designed to naturally help with symptoms. Best Shots should never be used in substitution for antibiotics or to treat serious illnesses.

Furber Babies’ mixes are considered to be natural supplements. They are not identified as feed, treats, or meal toppers. They are a mix of dried and freeze-dried herbs and powdered superfoods that do have a low caloric content value, but it is low enough that it is not needed to change the amount of food you give your Fur Baby every day to compensate.
Related to giving your Dog or Cat natural supplements, we do not recommend offering additional over-the-counter supplements in addition to our mixes. The only exception to this should be a prescribed supplement by your Vet.
The dosage of all our products is recommended at mealtime simply for ease of use. We know that most Pet Parents feed their Fur Babies about 2-3 times a day. To accommodate all budgets and Fur Babies with different mealtimes or number of meals, this simplifies the process to add Furber Babies’ mixes to your Fur Baby’s feeding regimen. We recommend using warm water in their food to provide equal distribution of the powdered mix and because research has shown that giving warm water to Fur Babies at mealtime can help with the digestive process. Warm water also helps to ferment the dried probiotics, for optimum benefits.

The most common potential side effect of our products is diarrhea, specifically during an acclimation period when your Fur Baby is adjusting to using our products. It is no different than a Dog or Cat adjusting to a new food, treat, topper, or supplement. We have to allow them to have an acclimation period, which is why we recommend cutting the dose in half for the first week of using our products.
If your Fur Baby does get diarrhea when adjusting, it usually resolves itself within 3-5 days. For sensitive stomachs it can take up to a week. If you know your Fur Baby has a sensitive stomach prior to using our products, try the lower end of the dose range for their weight and species on the packaging.
If any other symptoms outside of diarrhea surface during the acclimation period, or if it has been a week and the diarrhea is still not going away, stop use and consult with your Vet. It is possible in that circumstance that they may be allergic to one of the ingredients in our mixes.
We have tested all of our products with our 9 dogs and 6 cats multiple times. Everyone had solid stool except for 1 Cat that we expected would have diarrhea for the first few days because he has a sensitive stomach. It went away after 3 days.

We do not offer refunds or returns. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. We strongly encourage you to reach out if you are unhappy with any of our products so that we can receive feedback on your experience.
In a returned state, our mixes are unable to be resold due to potential tampering. Reselling returned mixes directly impacts the integrity of our ingredients. Furber Babies’ foundation is built with the promise we have given to other fellow Pet Parents that we are confident with what our mixes contain. We are not able to risk breaking that trust.
As a newer small business, the fragility of our success is dependent on being able to sell small batch inventory. We want to be around for a long time so that we can make a difference in the Pet Industry. As you continue to help us grow as a small business, it is possible in the future that we may be able to offer a return policy that includes a partial or full refund option. If we offer that in the future, the returned items will not be resold.
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE INFORMATION:
Our commitment to each of our fellow Pet Parents is to lead with transparency about our products. Our mission at Furber Babies will always be to make a positive impact on Cats, Dogs, and their Pet Parents.
Any recommendation given by Furber Babies is not medical advice. We are not Veterinarians. Our recommendations are based off opinions developed from our own experience of being Pet Parents to multiple Cats and Dogs that have had solid success with our products, recommendations over the years that we have received from various licensed Veterinarians and Technicians across the United States, and through our own research of symptoms, severity, and treatment published publicly by Veterinarians.
All of our products are not over the counter or prescription drugs. They are natural sourced supplement mixes derived from primarily air-dried or freeze-dried superfoods and herbs that are low-calorie in nature. Most ingredients are in fully powdered form. They are not to be used as a replacement for daily necessary nutrition found in commercially packaged Cat or Dog food. Our mixes are not snacks, meal toppers, or treats. They are natural supplement mixes that are encouraged to be given at mealtime using warm water to evenly mix into meals simply for ease of use.
If you are unsure if our products are a good fit for your Fur Baby, please consult with your Veterinarian. We are not just saying this because we have to say it for regulation purposes, but because we mean it and we care. Pet Parents are fully responsible for the continuity of care for their pets and with making decisions about their pet's health needs regardless of if they are using our products or not. Furber Babies is not responsible for the result of decisions a Pet Owner makes about their Fur Babies health and treatment while using our products.
There are risks with using our supplement mixes like with any new product that you allow your pet to ingest. Your pet may be exposed to natural ingredients that they have never been exposed to before and it's possible they may be allergic to one or more of the ingredients in our products. Even though all our ingredients are identified as safe for Cats and Dogs, each pet is unique. You may not be aware that they are potentially allergic to one of those new ingredients. Just because it works for our own Fur Babies and for other Pet Parents who have purchased our products, does not mean it will always be a good fit for each Fur Baby, and that is important to take into consideration when purchasing and using our products.
Nettle Leaf is the only ingredient that we use at Furber Babies that is identified as toxic to Cats and Dogs from the national database. It is important to us to make it clear that it is only toxic in its natural plant form because there are fine needles on the leaves of the plant that can cause respiratory distress and discomfort. In a dried and fully powered form, the needles are not present. The only form we use of Nettle Leaf and Nettle Root is a dried and fully powdered form. Nettle has multiple natural medicinal benefits to Cats and Dogs when used in its proper form and in small quantities, which is why you may see it on our ingredient list for some products. Please trust that we would never put anything in our mixes if it would risk a Fur Baby’s health.
If you choose to use our products with the intent to treat, cure an illness, or provide supplemental nutrition naturally to your Cat or Dog, and you have not consulted with your Veterinarian about it, you are assuming the full risk of liability if something happens to your Fur Baby related or unrelated to using our products. Talking about liability and risk is never fun business, but with selling natural supplements in the Pet Industry that has taught Veterinarians in school to not openly embrace conversations with their clients about natural supplements for Cats and Dogs, we don’t want anything to seem unclear to our customers. Every day, consumers purchase and use products for their pets without reading the fine print, and we want our fine print to be in a very visible location on our website.
